To process what one is seeing
the brain recalls past events
and quickly analyses the 
information. Outside of a couple
movies I have watched, there were
no prior memories to recall. 

This is the basic difference between
living in a free, peaceful country 
and the daily suffering that a lot 
of other countries/people experience.
